The thermal shock testing machine detects the performance of materials or products under rapid temperature alternations by simulating changes in extreme temperature environments. The core principle is that when the temperature of the material changes sharply, due to the characteristic of thermal expansion and contraction, thermal stress will be generated inside. The equipment enables the sample to withstand a huge temperature difference in a short period of time by rapidly switching between high-temperature and low-temperature environments. During the testing process, the samples were alternately placed in the high-temperature chamber and the low-temperature chamber. The high-temperature chamber was rapidly heated up by high-efficiency heating elements, while the low-temperature chamber was rapidly cooled down by an advanced refrigeration system. With the repeated and sudden changes in temperature, the thermal stress inside the material accumulates continuously. By observing whether the sample shows cracks, deformations, peeling and other phenomena, its thermal stability, thermal fatigue resistance and temperature change resistance can be evaluated, and the reliability of the material in practical applications when facing sudden temperature changes can be judged.
Equipment structure

The box system: The thermal shock testing machine is mainly composed of a high-temperature chamber and a low-temperature chamber. The box adopts a double-layer insulation design, and is filled with high-efficiency insulation materials such as aluminosilicate fiber cotton inside, effectively reducing heat transfer and ensuring the stability of the temperature inside the box. The exterior of the box is mostly made of stainless steel, which is not only aesthetically pleasing but also has good corrosion resistance and mechanical strength, and can adapt to different usage environments.
Temperature control system: The high-temperature chamber of the thermal shock testing machine is equipped with high-precision heating devices, such as resistance wires, etc., and through the advanced PID (proportional-integral-derivative) control algorithm, precise temperature regulation and stable control are achieved. The low-temperature box uses a high-efficiency refrigeration compressor and refrigeration cycle system, combined with high-precision temperature sensors to monitor the temperature inside the box in real time, ensuring that the set low-temperature value can be quickly reached and maintained, achieving precise temperature control.

The load-bearing frame is made of materials that are resistant to high and low temperatures and have high mechanical strength, capable of stably supporting samples in extreme temperature environments. Meanwhile, it is equipped with an automated sample transfer device, which can quickly and accurately transfer samples between the high-temperature chamber and the low-temperature chamber, ensuring that the samples complete the temperature environment switch within the specified time and guaranteeing the accuracy of the test results.
