Temperature shock test chamber is a necessary test equipment for metal, plastic, rubber, electronic and other material industries. It is used to test the material structure or composite material to see how much it can endure in a continuous environment of extremely high and low temperatures in an instant, so as to detect chemical changes or physical damage caused by thermal expansion and contraction of the sample in the shortest time. It is divided into two-chamber and three-chamber types, suitable for safety performance testing of electronic components, reliability testing, and product screening testing.

How does temperature shock work?
The essence of temperature shock lies in the non-uniform thermal expansion induced by temperature difference. When one side of the material is suddenly exposed to a high or low temperature environment, the outer layer expands or contracts rapidly, while the inner layer maintains the original temperature state due to slow heat conduction, thus generating a huge temperature gradient and causing thermal stress accumulation.
How long does temperature shock last?
The duration of temperature shock can vary from a few seconds to several minutes. The specific duration depends on the test standard and the purpose of the test. For example, some tests may only require a few seconds of high and low temperature switching, while some tests may require longer exposure to high or low temperatures. Application Scenario
Electronic component testing: Ensure that electronic components can operate stably under complex temperature change environments;
Highly Accelerated Limit Test (HALT): Conducted under extreme stress conditions far higher than those specified in technical conditions, aimed at stimulating failures and exposing design defects;
Highly Accelerated Stress Screening (HASS): Screening is performed at stress levels significantly higher than those expected during use or transportation, with the aim of stimulating manufacturing defects.
