Temperature shock test chamber is a necessary test equipment for metal, plastic, rubber, electronic and other material industries. How does temperature shock work?

 

The essence of temperature shock lies in the non-uniform thermal expansion induced by temperature difference. When one side of the material is suddenly exposed to a high or low temperature environment, the outer layer expands or contracts rapidly, while the inner layer maintains the original temperature state due to slow heat conduction, thus generating a huge temperature gradient and causing thermal stress accumulation.

 

How long does temperature shock last?

 

The duration of temperature shock can vary from a few seconds to several minutes. The specific duration depends on the test standard and the purpose of the test.
