Water Spray Test Chamber is also called Salt Spray Test Chamber. It can test the ability of materials and their protective layers to resist salt spray corrosion, and compare the process quality of similar protective layers. It can also test the ability of products to resist salt spray corrosion. The test results are used to evaluate their corrosion resistance, thereby determining parameters such as their applicability and lifespan. This test chamber is usually used in electronic components, automobiles, ships, aviation, aerospace, furniture and other fields to ensure the adaptability and durability of products in salt spray environments.
Working Principle
The Water Spray Test Chamber mainly compresses the corrosive solution into air spray, sprays the sample in the sealed space of the test chamber, and covers all surfaces of the sample as much as possible with the spray for a long time. This test can be carried out continuously or cyclically until the sample corrodes, and then the corrosion time is recorded as the corrosion resistance of the sample. The longer the time, the better the corrosion resistance of the sample. The corrosion solution in the general test chamber is mainly a 5% sodium chloride solution (industrial salt + water) or 0.26 grams of copper chloride per liter is added to the sodium chloride solution as a salt spray corrosion solution. The test chamber can independently adjust the precipitation and spraying amount of the salt spray according to the test requirements to ensure the constant test temperature, so it is often used to test the corrosion resistance of daily necessities or industrial products.
