Preface
Accelerated Weathering Chamber is a device used to simulate the aging process of materials in the natural environment.
It uses the ultraviolet light generated by the ultraviolet light source tube to irradiate the sample, and through the reflection, penetration and absorption of the sample surface, the sample is exposed to the irradiation of real ultraviolet light, thereby simulating the aging caused by sunlight.

Product Introduction
Accelerated Weathering Chamber uses fluorescent ultraviolet lamps that best simulate the UV spectrum of sunlight, and combines temperature control and humidity supply devices to simulate factors such as sunlight (UV segment), high temperature, high humidity, condensation, dark rain cycle, etc. that cause damage to materials such as discoloration, brightness, strength reduction, cracking, peeling, powdering, oxidation, etc. At the same time, through the synergistic effect between ultraviolet light and moisture, the single light resistance or single moisture resistance of the material is weakened or invalidated, so it is widely used to evaluate the weather resistance of materials.
Although ultraviolet light (UV) only accounts for 5% of sunlight, it is the main light factor that causes the durability of outdoor products to decrease. In UV aging tests, there are several different types of UV lamps to choose from, and usually, only short-wave UV light needs to be simulated. These UV lamps mainly produce ultraviolet light, rather than visible light or infrared light. The main difference between them is that the total UV energy they produce in their respective wavelength ranges is different, so different types of lamps will lead to different test results. The actual exposure environment can guide which type of UV lamp to choose for testing.

Types of UV lamps
1. UVA 340 lamps
The UVA 340 lamp is mainly used to simulate the ultraviolet part of sunlight, especially the spectrum in the critical short-wave wavelength range. Its wavelength range is 315-400nm, and the luminous spectrum energy is mainly concentrated at a wavelength of 340nm. The UVA 340 lamp is the best choice for simulating the sunlight after exposure to summer noon, and is suitable for light aging tests of outdoor products. Most tests recommend the use of UVA 340 ultraviolet lamps because it can well simulate the sunlight exposure at summer noon.
2. UVB 313 lamps
The UVB 313 lamp is used to accelerate the test to the greatest extent. Its wavelength range is 280-315nm, and the luminous spectrum energy is mainly concentrated at a wavelength of 313nm. The short-wave ultraviolet rays produced by the UVB 313 lamp are more intense than the ultraviolet rays commonly found on the surface, which can accelerate the test process to the greatest extent. This lamp is particularly suitable for tests that require accelerated aging, and is often used in quality control and product development, or for testing materials with strong weather resistance.
