The xenon lamp test chamber uses a xenon arc lamp that can simulate the full sunlight spectrum to reproduce the destructive light waves that exist in different environments, and can provide corresponding environmental simulation and accelerated test equipment for scientific research, product development and quality control.
The xenon lamp weather resistance test chamber equipment can be used for the selection of new materials, the improvement of existing materials or the evaluation of changes in durability after changes in material composition. The device can well simulate the changes of materials exposed to sunlight under different environmental conditions. The device measures the lightfastness of a material by exposing it to ultraviolet (UV), visible and infrared light. It uses filtered xenon arc lamps to produce the full sunlight spectrum for maximum match to sunlight. Properly filtered xenon arc lamps are the best way to test a product's sensitivity to longer wavelength UV and visible light in direct sunlight or sunlight through glass. When you expose a product outside in direct sunlight, that's the hours of the day that the product experiences maximum light intensity. Even then, the worst exposure occurs only during the hottest weeks of summer.
The xenon lamp test chamber is divided into three types according to the test standards and methods, air-cooled xenon lamp (LP/SN-500), water-cooled xenon lamp (LP/SN-500), desktop xenon lamp (TXE), the difference lies in the temperature, humidity and accuracy of the test , time, etc. It is an indispensable testing instrument in the series of aging test chambers.
Full-spectrum xenon lamp / optional filter system (glass window and UV filter) / long-term filter to provide protection for maintaining the required spectrum
·Water spray function/relative humidity control/test chamber air temperature control system
·Inexpensive xenon arc lamp / easy to install, easy to use and basically does not require daily maintenance
·The service life of the xenon arc lamp tube depends on the irradiance level used, and the service life of the general lamp tube is 1000 hours.
Light irradiance refers to the ratio of light energy irradiated on a plane. The equipment must be able to control the intensity of light irradiation in order to achieve the purpose of accelerating the test and reproducing the test results. Variations in light irradiance affect the rate at which a material deteriorates, while changes in the wavelength of light (eg, the energy distribution of the spectrum) affect both the rate and type of material degradation. The irradiance of the equipment is equipped with a light-sensing probe, also known as the sun eye, a high-precision light metering system, which can make a timely display of the decline in light energy caused by the aging of the lamp or any other changes. The solar eye allows the selection of an appropriate light irradiance during testing, even the equivalent of a summer noon sun. The solar eye can continuously monitor the light irradiance in the irradiation room, and can precisely maintain the irradiance at the working set value by adjusting the power of the lamp tube. Due to long-time work, when the irradiance drops below the set value, a new lamp needs to be replaced to ensure the normal irradiance.
